And earlier today, a grand jury in the state of Virginia indicted New York Attorney General, Letitia James, on one count of bank fraud and one count of making false statements.

MSNBC was the first to report that Lindsay Halligan, the interim U.S. attorney for the Eastern

District of Virginia, was presenting evidence to the grand jury.

Halligan was Trump's pick, of course, for the role after he forced out the previous U.S.

attorney who refused to bring the case before a grand jury.

Note that U.S. attorney was also appointed bring the case before a grand jury. Note that U.S. attorney was also

appointed by Trump. Up until last month, Halligan had zero experience as a prosecutor at all.

And just like in the Comey indictment, she presented the case alone after a senior advisor in the office

indicated that she did not see probable cause to seek an indictment.

Trump has been openly targeting Tish James for a very long time.

She investigated Trump for fraud about how much his assets were worth and one nearly half a billion dollar judgment against him.

That fine was tossed out, but the ruling was upheld.

James' first Court appearance is scheduled

for two weeks from tomorrow, and tonight she released a video reacting to the indictment. Watch this.
