The back 9 has been fine, but not Scotty S. got off to a great start. Did the two-time

Masters champion, Matt Newman's, but right now two under through 17 as he will head to the 18th.

Gary Woodland wrapping up the 17th just now as well as he is one under through 17. A whole lot to get to updated odds as well.

Early impressions of Augusta and what we saw today at the Masters.

Well, this morning it was a nightmare. It was a fat Pat Reed five under par on the front nine.

And I was just getting bombarded by messages,

texts, social media, everybody laughing, knowing how much I hated the fact that fat Pat was in the

lead.

The golfing gods took a couple strokes from him back on the back nine, and things settled down,

and got a pretty good tournament going on now with Rory at 5 under.

I think as unlucky as Scotty has been today with a few putts not dropping,

I think Rory was that lucky.

And I still like where Scotty stands here, 2 under, headed to the 18th.

And I would keep him as the favorite in this tournament,

even though he's three backbackeroy going to Friday.
