Just like everyone predicted, or very few people predicted, the Orlando Magic all over

0:26.5

the Charlotte Hornets out of the gate tonight in the NBA play-in.

Will Hill, 343 to go in the third quarter.

Magic 27, Hornets 10. Hornet closes three-point favorites,

down 17 early. The live number of draft kings. Right now, Magic minus seven and a half, total

0:45.7

two 17 and a half. Money line is Orlando minus 280. Well, you said it was probably not going to be

0:53.0

as simple as a lot of people thought that the magic were going to roll over and die, and they have not early in the first quarter.

1:00.2

Yeah, and not counting my money yet because a long way to go in the NBA of all sports, we know anything can and often does happen.

1:07.9

How many 10 point, 11 point leads did the Clippers blow the other night and a lot of them

in the second half.

But a good start here for Orlando to say the least. And I just, I didn't buy this idea that Orlando was going to no show here. I get why people were afraid to pick them. But it's not like they lost that game, Matt, to Philly by 50 points the other night. I mean, that was like a two or three, maybe a four-point game, middle of the fourth quarter,

1:29.2

Sixers hit him with a run, and they won the game by 50 points the other night. I mean, that was like a two or three, maybe a four point game, middle of the fourth quarter. Sixers hit him with a run and then won the game by 11 or 12 points. So we'll see, long way to go. Game is trending slightly under. We didn't talk about the total. I don't know how you feel, but elimination games here, would you kind of lean towards both unders here or not necessarily? i know you don't bet a lot of NBA totals. Did you have any side or thought here, I should say, on either of the either of these games? No, that's not a good question. Don't ask me that question. I'm kidding. No, no, I'm kidding. I just don't, no, I'm not going to bet many NBA totals. We have to talk about it. But, you know,

2:01.1

I heard a lot of totals analysis in the first round or in the first few playing games on this

2:05.9

network and most of it was wrong. And I'm not even going to jump into that stuff because I would

2:11.5

lean unders. But when you say lean, what's that really mean? If you don't have a strong opinion

2:16.4

enough to bet it, who cares? You know, which way? It's one thing I hate saying lean where I catch myself saying it. I try to remember not to say it again because you say, well, I lean this way. Who cares? If your opinion's not strong enough to bet it, your lean means really nothing anyway. So, no, I don't have an opinion on these totals. And I think totals in general are just really random. A lot of times you just don't know how much scoring you're going to get at the end of the game. Will you go back to March Madness, I was pretty good on sides and I sucked on totals. Right? And a lot of those totals I lost in the last two minutes because there was a bunch of scoring and I played under. There's 20 points scored in the last two minutes with a bunch of free throws and threes. And I'd just like to stay away from that. You try to, as a better, you want to eliminate as much randomness as possible. And when you bet totals, and especially when you bet NBA totals,

3:08.5

I think you start to really get into a lot of random bets.

3:13.1

Now, I will say there are people I know who bet NBA totals big, and they do well.

3:18.2

But they also get ahead of the market, and they're betting the number probably early
