about 10 minutes and before i got on the air we did have a major news the scratch of the number 20

full effort he's now out of the race and so this was a brad cox trained horse brad cox has three

horses in the race but uh this one was one that was going to be one of those that are coming from the back of the pack.

Some of the betting public really loves to bet.

He was going to close from the very back of the pack.

He had just come off of a really nice win at Turfway Park.

So it's unfortunate, but unfortunately, yes, number 20, full effort has scratched.

That means there is an also eligible horse that's still left out there,

and that's the number 22, O'Celley. O'Celley will draw into the field. So always unfortunate,

but yes, full effort out of the Kentucky Derby. Well, Aaron, that now adjusts the superfective bets

that I already put in from Mike Somich because that 20 horse

no longer going to be in there.

So anxious to see what that will do.

So again, for people that are just dipping their toes into the deep end here, some do's and don'ts for you, especially everyone loves to bet the derby.

How would you kind of walk people before they run and some of the common things you need to know before you make your bets? Yeah, it's a good question. And you're right. There are a lot of people that are betting maybe for the first time or the first time all year. They bet once a year it's the derby. The big thing is, and I always tell people if it's your first time going or you just start

once or twice a year player, keep it simple. Don't get over complicated. You can get very convoluted.

There's 20 horses. There's a lot of things thrown at you in the derby. Study it. Pick the horse you like,

bet that horse to win. And I think that's the simplest thing to do. If you're a novice better or a rookie better,
