Today is Thursday, March 18th, 2021. I'm here with Rebecca Shinsky. Rebecca, how are you?

You know what? I am pretty good. It is Thursday. We're during the weekend. It's mostly spring where I live. I'm feeling

emergence. There's like trees are budding and daffodils are in my yard and

literally I wake up to Bird Song right now I'm like some little Cinderella

fairy tale situation for the first five minutes of the day, and it's not bad.

I'm doing okay.

How are you?

It is so interesting that this nascent end of COVID, at least extremely acute, acute time, right?

COVID's going to be around and it's whatever form for maybe as long as we both shall

live and become a cold that kids have or whatever

the future is going to be but this lockdown period that it's ending as

spring happens is so in literature they would call it the pathetic fallacy is the name

for it when the weather mirrors the characters move right it's it's someone sad and

it's raining but the whole world right now is subject to the pathetic fallacy I think

in certainly in America where the vaccines are flowing and the spigots really seem

to be getting turned on and here in Portland Oregon we're supposed to have all

adults be eligible for vaccines in April now which is soon you know like mid-April is only a few weeks away and it feels like

emotionally it's a long way away, temporarily it's not that far the difference here so it is an

interesting time I'm glad you are feeling like a daffodil ready to burst forth from the from the soil.
