Oh, yeah.

3:09.4

Welcome to part of my take today is Monday, August 7th.

3:14.3

And the Pac-12 is dead.

3:17.1

Completely dead.

3:17.9

I feel bad for Washington State fans.

3:20.5

I feel bad for some of the Oregon State fans.

3:23.1

Cal Stanford.

3:24.1

Realignment kind of sucks for them.

3:25.6

Now it's gonna be cool when you look at the football schedules in like two years and you get to see some of these matchups. Correct. So that's good. I like that for us, but it does kind of suck. I feel bad for them. It's a I'm very conflicted and I also know when I'm speaking about this before anyone tries to correct me. I know that I'm speaking from a place where my team is safe.

3:46.7

So it definitely changes how I look at the realignment. Realignment does suck. It sucks because the Pac-12 has been around for over 100 years. I like it. Not for the champions. I liked that there was different brands of football. I just don't understand when people say that college football is dying because guess what on Saturday, I will still watch. And there are some new wrinkles that I actually am excited about. The big 12 rocks, the new big 12 rocks. The fact that we're gonna get like Kansas and Arizona playing basketball every single year, that rocks. Texas Tech and UCF is going to be my game of the year over every single year. Like there are new wrinkles that are awesome. Washington, Oregon, playing in Rutgers, that will rock. Yeah, I guess. It will rock. But what if you're like a, one of the smaller sports, like if you're a volleyball player, and you have to travel now to to pescat away. Well, this is the hypocrisy of the whole thing is when all these athletic department heads and, you know, presidents of the schools are like student athletes, student athletes, and then they're like, oh, yeah, an Oregon softball player now has to travel to Rutgers for like a weekend and then and then come back. They are not doing anything for student athletes. It is all for the money.

5:09.5

It's all for the TV money. Fox and ESPN have basically run how college football looks going forward. And pack 12 completely bungled the whole thing. So Larry Scott. Larry Scott is he's the big villain in all this. Larry Scott, when they brought him in,

5:26.3

they were like, this guy is a visionary.

5:28.3

He understands the future of sports better than anybody. I remember he was doing like the rounds. He was, he was going to interview it on every podcast. Or he has not podcast at the time. Every sports radio show, he was all over ESPN. he's like i have the vision to lead the pack twelve into the future

5:42.6

basically is vision was just fucking everything up and making everybody hate

5:45.7

yeah no the best he could do for vision was just fucking everything up and making everybody hate him.

5:45.9

Yeah, no.
