Neelon Stadium where eighth-ranked Tennessee defeats Florida 23 to 17 and as

we hit the record button the lights have been turned off at Neelen Stadium, not here in the visiting

athletic directors press box where we are, but on the field where Tennessee did defeat

Florida 23 to 17 in a game that was not beautiful but for the third time in 20 years

Tennessee has defeated Florida and I think when you put numbers into perspective

like that it does change things quite a bit that's just my opinion though and

I'm not the only one certainly who's going to be on this podcast certainly not

the only opinion that we're going to hear about this game tonight and moving forward

and for the next several days right

here with Ryan Callahan and Ben McKee. But fellas it was a 23 to 17 to win for Tennessee,

a game that Tennessee often does not win and a game that Tennessee found a way to win.

And it felt for a good stretch of this game like Tennessee might not find a way to win.

That's the crazy thing about this is the second consecutive week where Tennessee doesn't score in the first half.

A second consecutive week where it looks like Tennessee's offense just can't get anything going and yet when push

came to shove they fought back in the second half found a way to win I think

playing at home definitely made a difference in this game compared to being on the road last week

and that may have been the difference when you look at the two games side by side because Tennessee didn't play

significantly better. I don't think that it did a week ago and you know that and maybe there's
