joined by West Rucker on a Thursday ahead of another busy Tennessee Baseball weekend.

A busy weekend for Tennessee athletics in general.

Tennessee football has its spring game on Saturday and will be hosting several

recruits for football.

Basketball has some transfer visitors that will be in town

and baseball is off to the land of Dave Van Horn and the razorbacks to face number five Arkansas and a big time show down that has been highly anticipated.

I wouldn't even say for months, but for years now a couple of years since Tennessee and in Arkansas had that run in in

2021 when Arkansas came to Knoxville.

They did win that series, but Max Ferguson had a big walk-off home run.

Tony Vitello and Dave Van Horn got into it.

Then they played in the SEC tournament, SEC title game Arkansas wasn't that so the two teams did not play last year so they have not met since that there's been a lot of run-ins amongst the fans on social media since then and maybe some not so subtle

comments in the media by Dave Van Horn at times but Wes we finally arrived to this series again

it will be in Fayetteville this week on on Friday night at 8 PM Eastern on Saturday at 7 PM Eastern and then on Sunday in the series finale at 3 PM Eastern.

Game 1 is on SEC Network and then game 2 and game 3 will be streamed on SEC network plus.

So Wes, we'll get into all the baseball stuff here in just a moment, but this has been a highly anticipated

matchup for quite some time now.

Yeah, it has been Ben and I you know I'm personally sad that I that I won't be

there because you know it's it's the spring football game so that's going to kind of take precedent unfortunately. It's kind of a bummer that I won't be in fanville this weekend because I've been looking forward to this

matchup for a while you know anytime there's sort of two really good teams that's a good thing

anytime there's a little animosity a little bad blood that that's never a bad thing. Well, I guess it can be a bad thing, but to me it kind of spices things up a little bit. I know that's a great stadium, a great program, and those guys don't have a lot of love for the balls as you can tell by anytime Tennessee baseball is ever mentioned on social media.

Arkansas fans seem to have like a radar lock on that. They've wanted this for a while. It's going to be hopping, it's going to be loud, it's going to be nasty for Tennessee. And I wish that I could be there to kind of see it and soak it all in.
