One hundred years and a day ago, the First World War ended.

The rifle fire halted, the fighter planes landed and the troops returned home.

Not to fanfare but to a great depression fitting for the Great War.

And with all the bloodshed the lives lost

and the loss of resources you'd think we would have learned our lesson but as

we know war never ends is it human nature are we doomed to fight until we pay the

ultimate price this month's theme is war.

We've got stories that look to the future of fighting and stories that jump back and take a skewed look at wars past.
