Hi, my name is Lila. I'm from Arkansas and I am 17 years old but when I was 13 my mother passed away. My mother was mentally ill and she was always

which made me and her very close and when she passed away due to addiction problems, it ripped me up.

And I always felt like she was still here, but it wasn't in a very direct manner like she wasn't, she was only active at certain times and even then she was pretty much gone.

I want to tell you about a couple experiences that I had right after she

died and I had to find them first because they were written in a journal somewhere. The first one,

which I don't think had anything to do with her necessarily. It was right after she died, my stepdad

and I, he flew in from California and we were just, it was just he and I in her house. And he was

upstairs in the back room watching TV and I was downstairs in the back room watching TV and it was a pretty big house it was just she and I and at most of the time because my stepfather traveled for work. So we were alone.

The weird stuff had happened when I was a kid.

Sometimes I would be cleaning the kitchen

and I sang, not if I had on actual music,

but if I sang, I would hear footsteps coming from the bathroom

that was brought across in the kitchen it would sound like somebody was walking out and

it was always it was kind of freaked me out and I stopped singing in the kitchen

shortly after that and I would turn on music just so I didn't have to hearing flip that.

And I always thought that maybe it was my mother walking around upstairs, but her room was not above that room. In it was it was our bathroom but nobody walked it was

basically a wall separating the bathroom in a guest room so there was nobody

walking there for obvious reasons and one night I was down there and this is

shortly after she died I think it was maybe the night of the funeral and I was

watching TV and I could see there were two French doors and the French doors were open leading out with the dining room and the kitchen was right off that.

And the lights were kind of dim, but I could still see things.
