Yesterday we had to steal the phrase from hammer and Nigel we had a lot of legal stuff that we were talking about and one of the things we really the center on you got called to jury duty I got someone's yeah you've got to call that number and you've got to figure out a time you're supposed to go so haven't done that yet I have I have two weeks 14 days to do it you may indeed be a member of the jury deciding someone's fate and so got a lot of calls about that but one of the things that we had posed the question to is what happens

to the jury's during COVID did they have to go in person where they just remote if they were remote did you have to sit in a specific room because you're a juror and if you're at home you know your cats running around or your dogs barking or your babies crying or you know whatever it might be you got to oh sorry I missed that key piece of evidence there because you know I was picking up my door dash so what happened to the jury's during COVID somebody called about that.

Thank you no one case you guys are talking about the courts during COVID and whether they did jury I believe all the courts were closed during COVID so therefore there were no juries being the clustered and or selected during that entire time because the courts were entirely closed thanks a lot of you shall fight.

Okay, but there were there were like there was no crime during that time nobody left their house well I see what she saying like so maybe that because judges were engaged in civil matters I know about I know judges were engaged on that so maybe it was a thing where there weren't any criminal trials or trial or civil trials that would have involved a jury of some sort.

And then just things if there was a bench trial or something of that nature was allowed to continue okay maybe that makes they were possibly delayed yeah no I yeah I think you're right that yeah okay all right I'm good with it so we'll never know if it was Mr. Green with the rope in the library.

All right hold a whole bunch of people wanted to call about you going on the jury duty so we got several of them let's just start rolling.

Hey guys I did get selected for our call for jury duty exactly two years ago during COVID so they were bringing you into the courtroom downtown one this is when they were downtown they're no longer downtown they're over by twin air now.

But the canceled everyone that was called up at the same time as I was because they caught the deal with the defendant and he plead so fortunately I did not have to go anyway thanks guys so we have to call

their accomplishing. Yeah his his his was thrown out because of a plea bargain and well that's what I've heard they call everybody in a group and like if you're number one through 40 you're dismissed sure okay so some cases we're going some weren't I don't know.

But if that guy was on a jury I feel like the first person who called me had just been talking out of her ass look I'm going to show these guys how smart I am.

The second guy is actually he was on a jury so I'm sure he had to go he had to wear a mask and show up okay so here is the thing we have tens of thousands of people listen to the show every hour and thousands
