Well, I hate to be the bear of bad news, but your government lied to you. Better let

me say this better. Your government misled you about the savings you would be receiving.

And what we mean by that is when they did the tax caps, don't keep in mind. When they

did the tax caps, this wasn't some great tax savings to the people as a collective. This

wasn't some great cut in government, which was what it was presented as. They raised

the sales tax and all of that money went to pay teachers. So used to be your property

taxes, everything paid the teachers, right? The school, the buildings, the teachers, blah,

blah. When they did the tax caps, they raised your taxes somewhere else and said, all

that money's going to teachers. So when you got your property tax cap, you really didn't

get any savings to begin with. Maybe some in the very beginning, but they did two things,

and then the older I get to more, I realized they did it deliberately because they realized

people weren't paying attention. One, they allowed referendums to take place on demand

any time every single year. So anytime a school system says, those tax caps, we don't
