who's coming to an email from the lady who was co-in charge or in charge or whatever you want to say putting together the report on the riots who apparently told streams people yeah what Hawks has said that debate is not true there's nothing in the report that tells you where he was think about this the mayor of the largest city in the state

and nobody has any definitive proof where he was during arguably the most important and consequential thing to ever happen in this city okay with somebody called during the debate that they had on Monday night they were going back and forth talking about the loss of people coming to downtown and the safety of the city

and also the shops and what the plans are like the spark on the circle that Shrieve has said that he wants to oppose that and he wants to bring traffic vehicular traffic back to the circle and somebody called with a comment about grocery stores in Indy

they didn't bring up the fact that these people go downtown granted there's a couple grocery stores down there but nothing right home about they still have to get in the cars and go to the suburbs to do shop

he's got a really good point because as you know I live in Indianapolis I live downtown and I have to go to a bond

but if you do my grocery shop okay so let's play this out if you were if you were a major retailer you know pick your favorite major retailer

to provide groceries no of course not there you have absolutely no 2020 taught these people that there is absolutely no guarantee of safety of your business or your employees

or anything it's not going to happen down here because major retailers who newsflash exist to make money are looking at a risk versus reward thing

and they're saying we're not doing business down here we're simply not going to take the risk for either our merchandise and the capital investment

or more importantly the investment in workers to subject them to downtown Indianapolis certainly after dark

well and look what's happening to them all too even when stores were there they're leaving now yeah and you've got stores on the circle that are leaving

and it's so sad because when I was growing up and then as I became an adult and I will say well I mean really through about 2015

so you're saying what would I have been so basically you know through about 31 years old the city of Indianapolis was a pretty cool place

to go have a good time and look there were many many years and we always joke about that he used to do this with violence

violence with ping pong between broad ripple in downtown so one year it'd be downtown and then they'd put a good

Jillian cops in downtown and then the violence would go to broad ripple and then the next year they would they would put it in broad ripple

and there'd be a good Jillian cops here so you could just in alternate years based on where you were social and you knew
