Hey everyone, I hope you're all having a great day. This week, I wanted to talk about a life list.

0:10.8

So, I, at the end of last year, myself, my husband and my son, we sat in a restaurant and we decided to start what we've called our 100 life list. So what it is is basically,

0:23.7

you know, I'm somebody who likes to make lists, but often it's like a to do list or, you know,

0:29.3

a packing list, whatever. It's like work, it's boring, it's admin. However, I thought, why not make

0:34.2

a fun list? And also, I'm somebody who believes that we should put a date on all of our dreams.

0:39.9

You need to date it because if you don't have a date and a time and a specific kind of deadline to achieve something,

0:45.8

then there's no sense of urgency. It might never happen. It's not going to be a priority in your life.

0:50.7

And I just think, why are we all prioritising the busy, boring admin lists and not

0:56.5

prioritising the fun stuff. So the life list is basically a hundred things that make you happy,

1:04.0

things that you want to do, places you want to go, people you want to see, maybe people you want

1:08.7

to meet. Whatever it is, just write it on the list.

1:11.3

So you can just kind of, yeah, start the list as thinking of anything like travel to Italy,

1:16.9

write it down. Just thinking of things that went onto our list. Watch the Avengers movie at the

1:22.7

cinema. Write it down. That's on our list. Go for a go-karting lesson. Write it down. Whatever you want

1:30.4

to do anytime in your life, put it on the list. And then I encourage you to go through the list.

1:35.9

And it's actually, it's really hard to come up with a hundred things. That is when I first started.

1:39.5

I was like, okay, I'll write some stuff. And then husband added some and then my son had some ideas. And we were like, okay, that's 25 things. And you're like, surely, like there's no limit to it.

1:49.4

Like anything, anything. So you'd think that you'd be able to fill a hundred things really quickly.

1:54.1

But anyway, once you have got, I don't know, a long list, then go through and start to date the

2:00.3

things on the list. So, for example,

2:02.5

some things like learning a new language, okay? So if you want to learn a new language and you

2:06.0

write it on, loads of people say they want to learn a new language, but they never actually book
