to look at a preacher who happens to be a friend. We've worked together in ministry before. He's

been a communicator at our Super Summer events and other events. I love Vody Bakum. I love his preaching

style. I love listening to him at Conclave the last time he was

with Texas Baptist, and I consider him a friend. I don't offer these critiques because I don't

love these guys. I offer these critiques because I actually do love these guys, and I care about

them. I just simply disagree with them like they obviously would

disagree with me. And I'm trying to present on this podcast the other side in a cordial and loving

way. In other words, I am great with you understanding what Vody Bakum believes and teaches. I'm fine with

you understanding what John Piper and John McArthur and Archiege Spruill teach and believe.

But I think it's also fair for you to listen to the other side in our actual words because more oftentimes than not,

when you hear the leading Calvinists preach and talk about the issues of predestination and election,

they are not representing

the scholarly views of those who are non-Calvinist. At least that's been my experience, as we've played time and time again here on this broadcast.

There are very few, if any, notable Calvinists who are painting the non-Calvinistic perspective in a way that I would appreciate or that I think

other leading non-Calvinist or Armenians or traditionalist or provisionist or whatever title we want
