Welcome to the Andy Stanley Leadership Podcast. A conversation designed to help leaders

0:08.0

go further faster. On today's podcast, we'll conclude a conversation around the building

0:12.7

blocks of a compelling vision. Andy, we kicked off this conversation last month and it's

0:18.8

based on your amazing book, Visionary, that has just been re-released. What led you to

0:23.9

write this book?

0:25.2

Well, as I mentioned in the last month, our organization had just begun and as a leader,

0:29.4

I felt like I needed to teach leadership and one of the big parts of leadership is vision.

kids are five and seven years old and now they're graduating from college. So I had the

1:23.8

stink privilege working with Susie Gray to go back and look at some of the content,

1:27.6

I could date some of it. And the interesting thing was as I began to read back through

1:31.5

my own book and the sounds of strange, I found myself thinking, this is great stuff and

1:36.6

I need to reread this book. And really it's not because I wrote it. It's because the

1:40.7

content that comes straight out of this extraordinary leader's experience is so rich and it, you
