Matthew chapter 13, Matthew chapter 13. I want to preach in this last service of the vision series

thank you for what you have already been doing we do not ask people to give a certain amount

we put no pressure if you haven't noticed we don't pass if you're visiting we don't pass

offering bags there's nothing

wrong with that uh but we we just let people give what they want to give as they feel to give

we teach the word of god the bible clearly teaches tithing and giving and we expect that people

just obey the word and that's between you and him once you know the truth of the word.

But this series is about asking people above their normal giving to reach beyond, to do something significant,

to help us with these kinds of ministries that you've just seen

on that video.

And today I'm going to close this series with a message that I believe is the heart of God

and it really is the heart of Free Chapel.

I want you to see in Matthew chapter 13, I'll just read one verse of scripture.

Then he said to them, therefore every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven.

He's saying, now the kingdom of heaven is like, this is Jesus speaking, a householder

who brings out of his treasure things new and things old.

I think the thing that I love about this verse is it can be connected to the Old Testament
