All right, everybody, welcome back to another edition of the Tear tear down that is a post-race podcast

here on the athletic my name is jeff gluck i'm along with my co-worker jordan bianchi and we just

watched the third virtual um pro series invitational pro-invitational series race whatever it's

called uh from virtual Bristol Motor Speedway.

And this one was kind of a dumpster fire a little bit.

First couple weeks was fun, enjoyable.

We had some good stuff to talk about.

We may have some good stuff to talk about today, but the racing itself, not necessarily what you want to see.

Quite a caution fest, I would say there, Jordan.

Way too many cautions.

I thought the racing was good when we had long, we had like one mini stretch there of Greenflake racing, and it was good.

Just too many cautions.

You never got the drivers never got no rhythm.

And the guys really didn't need to show what they could do over a long run with tire wear

and tire management and different strategies.

I'm kind of wondering if I understand why they have that some of the drivers in this field

that they do because this is an invitational thing and you want the name recognition and everything. But I'm starting to wonder if having guys

who are big names who don't have some of this experience who kind of are causing a lot of

cautions repeatedly is worth continuing because it is messing up the flow of the race

and it's not creating a product

which I don't think today was a great example of what this can be. I think it can be great.

I think last night's race was pretty entertaining that they did.
