Coming at you with your postgame hot takes after a 31 to 24 loss for Florida State on the road to Virginia.

And this is actually a difficult hot takes podcast to do because, I mean, really, what is there to say?

At a certain point, you are who you are.

In fact, what I'm going to do, I'm going to go ahead and I'm just going to open this podcast by reading a tweet from a Florida State Hall of Fame defensive tackle,

Corey Simon.

Mistakes can be corrected.

Effort is what you are.

And, you know, at a certain point, this team has shown us what they are.

They showed us a good portion of these guys, showed us what they were last year.

This coaching staff showed us a lot about themselves last year.

And they basically continue to show themselves for what they are.

And so, I mean, this is, first things first, this outcome is not surprising.

This is not a surprising outcome.

You have the more, the clearly more talented team, the team that should have blown the doors

off of the other team, if you look at who is actually on the field, that loses the game. But it's not surprising. I mean, going into this game in the,

in the preview podcast, I had Florida State losing 31 to 28. I was slightly over-optimistic,

looks like. But, I mean, this is not a surprising outcome at this
