Greetings, parish offers of retrogrades.

Today we will be talking about the role played by the son of man, the central role in

humankind and his mother as a kind of brief follow-up to our last show.

In other words, there's a connection between the passivity of Mary, the accepting nature of the

Virgin Mother and the incarnation, particularly as addressed by Thomas Aquinas.

And here with me to help unpack these things is Father Alan Banander, my friend from from California the weather looks pretty nice there father

how are you today it's I'm been pretty good it's it's pretty nice it's actually it was a little

bit chilly out here you know I got actually frost in the window you know growing up in Cleveland

that's that would be a warm day you know you didn't have a put a snow on your windshield it a good day. But here we got a little bit of frost this morning. But can't complain. It's actually turned out to be a pretty nice day as most California days are. Yeah. Yeah. And here in Mississippi, we got California like weather. This time of the year, I'm always depressed by that. I want, I want snow and chill. Yeah. Yeah. Actually, so do I. I miss the smell this time of year. So a lot of

people think I'm crazy even some of my family members, but that's okay. I'm crazy, but not for that

reason. Well, there's plenty of reasons. We're doing, I would say, an important service today for the parish orphans

and retrogrades out there because there is so very much packed into the concept of the

incarnation. And who better to really expose it, but the angelic doctor Aquinas. So we're going to talk

some just conversationally

about what people are probably missing about the incarnation itself, all the hidden mystery.

And that begins with Mary. And of course, I did a show that you and I were texting back and forth

on about Mary after doing a text about Mary over the weekend.

So I just, yeah, I was, I just wanted to exposit some of what we were talking about by text.

I mean, the Virgin Mary, by saying yes to being the, the channel for the incarnation itself.

It is her passivity, her acceptance, her amen.

That makes her, that alone makes her the greatest saint in the queen of heaven, right?

It is that.
