So Andy, it's finally happened.

The Landike is coming to Liverpool. He's not there yet, but January the 1st, it will be happening.

It's been agreed. We got announced at 6 o'clock today, that's Wednesday. What's your view on it?

Tremendous news. I mean you can't see anything but that you know we've been waiting for a

considerable amount of time. We've had ups and lots of downs in this pursuit. I mean, we went from

sort of fantastic celebrations in the summer among supporters only for them to be dashed sort of within

how long was it 24 hours 24 hours when when that that deal fell apart as Southampton you know stood firm and

threatened Liverpool with you know with with a tapping up charge and we've seen the

manager questioned over his desire not to settle for second best and what we've seen and to be fair I think many of us felt that there was a reason Clop didn't want to go for another

center half and it had to be, and we've said it on this blood-read podcast many times, that he had, there had to be a reason he didn't buy another one and

the general reason he felt that that was most likely in that was that he thought

he had a chance still of getting Van Dyke and that was only a

chance and we'll hear from you know Percy soon I think obviously about the fact that

you know there have been others interested and it could have gone wrong but they've got it over the line and as far as I'm concerned

Nothing but praise for Liverpool. I mean James and he's just mentioned then that obviously Liverpool could have missed out on him but I mean what's your your take
