My name is Virgie Chopper and my dilemma is that I deeply super miss being able to travel and

I realize the huge part of my identity. So, girl, same. This has been rough and you know, international

travel plans that got busted, including finally going to Africa with my parents who had never been

all the trips to visit friends and family. What would have been my first time to Van Coover,

Europe for a Pearl Jam show, a working and Santa Barbara that I was mystic around for,

couple weddings and some great places. Just general bummers all around. I know we all have them

as dates passed us by and trips got canceled. And I wish I had a real solution for you, but I don't.

The best I can tell you is try to spin it to seeing the positives of being home. Maybe

take care of house renovations or painting a room or hanging art that you've been putting off.

You know, all the stuff that we don't have time for now is the time to do it.

Maybe go through your favorite pictures from previous trips and relive how great they were.

Choose a couple that you really like and hang them up somewhere and that'll remind you to get

you excited for when you get to go travel somewhere again. And one of my friends had to cancel a trip

to Mexico with their family so I sent her at home, you know, Margarita mix and some glasses and

some decorations. You could do that. You could throw a little party at your house with some of the

food and music and drinks of somewhere you'd like to go. Sometimes the anticipation and the

planning for a trip is super fun too. So find somewhere you know you want to go when you can and
