I'm Gianna Jalosi with your Fox True Crime Minute. Singer David has been arrested in connection with the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, the teenage girl, whose severely decomposed body was found in the trunk of his Tesla back in September. The Los Angeles PD announced they arrested the 21-year-old, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, April 16th. He's being held without bail. Revis was found dead in an impounded Tesla registered to the singer, September 8th, 2025,

one day after what would have been her 15th birthday.

Officials say the car had been left on a public street for weeks before it was towed to an impound lot in Los Angeles

where someone reported a foul odor coming from the vehicle.

Officials with the LAPD say Rivas had likely been dead for several weeks before her remains were found in the trunk. Her cause in manner or death still under investigation. It remains unclear whether Rivas and the singer have a connection, though speculation has circulated online. Burke has millions of followers on social media and created the anthem for Fortnite.
