Did you see Phillies, Karen?

I did.

This is a story about what's cool about baseball and what's bad about humankind in general.

Baseball, in my opinion, is this game of the past.

In general, it's got a lot of history. Often you would hear about kids. is this game of the past in general.

Often you would hear about kids going to the park with their ball glove on, sitting in the worst possible seats, just hoping to catch a fly ball.

So the story goes that these guys are in Miami, but they're Phillies fans.

They're all wearing Phillies jerseys.

And a Philly player hits this home run.

It goes out into the stands.

A dad is in the stands nearby. He says, as I've seen him talk now at this point, because it's become a national story,

he says he's tracking the ball, he walks over across from his seat.

He doesn't leave his row, but he walks across.

The ball drops, lands on the ground, ricochets, he picks it up and walks it back to his boy

and puts it in his kid's glove.

And this lady comes over also in Philly's gear and just starts giving him the business about how he.

He took her ball.

I've actually got the audio of him talking about what happened when she came over.

Oh, yeah, play it.

And by the way.

I want to ask a question because I've looked at this footage and it's hard to see what the hell happens. He's saying nobody touched this ball. He didn't grab this ball from anybody. It doesn't matter. At a baseball game, when a ball goes into the stands, it's a free for all. And the etiquette, if you're an adult and there's a kid nearby, you give it to the kid.
