This is kind of amazing, out of a couple hundred films that Roger and I each saw this year.

We agree that the biggest disappointment of the year is doomed with a huge budget, a

talented young director and a script based on a highly regarded science fiction novel.

This whole film looked ugly as if the lens were filthy, telling the story of a young prince's

attempt to bring peace to the universe by conquering bad guys and conquering bad giant worms

that threatened to eat everything and everyone.
