because we're like ranting i guys i wrote a whole like intro to this to the show but like an

hour before we started recording ice stormtroopers just straight up murdered a woman uh in the streets

of minneapolis and everyone's just kind of shook and now my show notes up murdered a woman in the streets of Minneapolis.

And now my show notes seem completely trite.

You know, we want to talk about Venezuela, Greenland.

And I think this is a great opportunity, a tragic opportunity to explain like why, you know,

there's no distance really between the impunity of U.S. foreign policy

and domestic policy. Like, you don't think that this extrajudicial, extraordinary rendition of Nicholas

Maduro, like, affects how ICE agents conduct themselves on the ground as a former member of the U.S.

Special Operations community, the more impunity that I know that I can get away with or that my command

will allow me to get away with, that's like where I'm going to, it might influence my decisions.

Personally, I wasn't really about that, but there are some sociopaths in that

community, obviously, who, you know, were empowered by leadership decisions. And so, like,

this is one of the reasons that I wanted to talk about, like, how the charge of, like, war crimes

and genocide is actually sticks to individuals. You know, it's why Netanyahu has an ICC arrest warrant and

they have an ongoing genocide case against them in the International Court of Justice. It's not

because, you know, there's a really easy to prove template for like genocide. It's because the message

that comes down from command, like Netanyahu, Yoav Galant, that's like,

you know, we can do whatever we want and, you know, we need to exterminate this entire people.
