Hello and welcome to the first edition of the Trawl 2025.

Happy New Year.

I'm Marina Perkis. And I'm Gemma Forte and I've eaten too much and need to go on a diet and we'll not be drinking for a short while.

In other much more interesting news, it is January 2025. I mean, I don't know if this is interesting or just horrifying, actually.

In less than three weeks time, everybody, Donald this is interesting or just horrifying, actually. In less than three

weeks time, everybody, Donald Trump is going to be inaugurated for the second time. There you go.

That's your first shot of political adrenaline potentially for the year. So I'm sorry about that.

But of course, as this new year begins, we have no idea what twists and turns the

trawl will be taking. But what we do know is that we've already got some amazing trawl meets

booked in. And Marina and I will be revving up, literally pacing the floor, ready to see what

earth is going on with some fresh trolls next week. But today we want to have another

look back at some of the bits which have amused us and hopefully you from past trawls. So

like your fridge, we're full of delicious picky bits, leftovers, the good kind. And we're going

to stuff it all into a new year's sarny before we start the official cleanse and look forward.

And they really are picky bits. We're going to dip into some old episodes. Some of it will be

cheesy. Some of it will be crackers. Can you see what we're doing here?

And some of it will be a bit ripe.
