Don Maggiar was 20 years old in 1973.

On January 27, she decided to do some shopping.

was new baby clothes for her son. Dawn's husband contacted the police and showed them what they had discovered.

No witnesses came forward in Don's case, and the evidence in the truck didn't provide any clues

to where she might have gone. So, all the police and Don's family could do was wait.
