Now here's an issue that I think we previewed, or at least I previewed on Jensaki's show on

MSNBC a week or two ago. And that was the decision of how to effectuate the taking

into custody of Jim Comey if you were going to be indicted.

And generally speaking, there's a few things. And Barb McQuade has written about this,

and I think you have written and talked about this. So we should explain some basics to folks

so they understand what is and what is not normal and what is or what is not fair.

In garden variety cases that are covert,

right, you're investigating members of the mob, you're investigating gun traffickers,

you're investigating human traffickers, and you have wiretaps or whatever other evidence

you have cooperating witnesses, the usual range of pieces of evidence. You go to the grand jury in secret.

You obtain a grand jury indictment under seal. You ask for arrest warrants. You did that. I did that.

I don't know an exact process in your district in Alabama. But we would go to the magistrate judge.
