Happy Friday everybody you've made it to the end of the week and you know who

else has made it to the end of the week and actually been vindicated and

acquitted is our friend Kyle Rittenhouse. I know that Elijah would have been

thrilled to talk about this but he is in fact I believe at this point on a

plane to Kenosha to talk to Kyle because they are friends believe it or not

and maybe we might get Kyle in studio at some point in the next couple weeks or

couple months who knows but I wanted to talk about this because I know that a

lot of you have been invested in this story and the fact that we finally got

an acquittal back is amazing I know that a lot of us felt really strongly

about the fact that it felt like in a lot of ways self-defense itself was on

trial here Sarah I know that you've got a lot of feelings towards this as

well it's I mean this is amazing you actually were the reason I found out

because you texted me saying that you cried yeah I was texting everyone like

oh sure there's just so much at stake here and I think well there are still

reasons to be very pessimistic about the state of America I think this was this
