How does the actual tactical skills of being a soldier, of being an athlete, of being

an agent, how has that affected you as an actor in terms of the physicality or just

even the approach?

I've tried to tell people, I feel like I have one of the best roller dexes of emotions,

like just, I mean, I can pull from anything, from love, from pain, from death to, like,

I know what the look is and is kicking in the door of a family and them all being like,

oh shit, I know that look.

I know the look of a woman who's lost her husband.

I know that look.

I know the look of a wife who was bearing her husband.

I know that.

I know the kids.

I know all of that.

I know the faces.

I know the emotions.

I know the raw, like, pain and I've soaked it all in.

I know what I feel like when I see something overseas that was like fucking unfortunate and

you're like, fuck, I gotta live with that one too.

You know what I mean?

And so I feel like I've been able to pull from the experience, whatever I've done in

the military, whatever I've done in the board show, whatever I've done in a baseball,

like, baseball probably is the root of everything of me, right?
