And if you know who Vincent Vargas is, he's the actor. He plays Gilly on Mayan's MC. He's an author. He's a singer, rapper, father, ranger, border patrol, secret, something agent guy.

Well, it just flies right off the tongue naturally. Rocco Vincent, how old are you?

I'm 41.

41. And you have a resume that supersedes most people's lives already at 41.

So this is software, radio. We talk about veterans and how they've come from where they used to be and how they are today.

And there's a military background in your history, right? And I said ranger right there.

And so tell me a little bit about what made you join the military, how old you were, and why you chose ranger.

Yeah, yeah. I was 23 years old and my baseball career came to an end. All because of me, right?

I didn't make the smart choices and I became academically ineligible and I lost the full rights scholarship.

I tried to continue to play other places, but kept getting cut. There's a lot of reasons why the baseball career didn't continue one because I was extremely immature too.

I was into the drinking scene and I didn't take baseball serious.

You know, so that was my intro into what's next.

As I was sitting at a bar, I was working at Texas Roadhouse.

And when we finished shift, we'd all head over to Buffalo Wild Wings. I was watching a Marine on TV putting a flag over the Saddam Statue and as they're pulling it down.

And I saw his family super proud of him, right? They interviewed with that family that were crying with joy.

And I kind of like did it a little self-reflection like damn, I don't think my parents at any moment of my life so far have been proud of, you know, because I've made a lot of mistakes.

I continue to do these stupid things, these immature things that are not beneficial to my career field or to my life, right?
