The Wall Street Journal this morning, saying that new federal investigations into the deepening

hush money scandal enveloping WWE. W. W.E. hastened the retirement of its chief executive

Vince McMahon. This is according to people familiar with the matter. So Vince's retirement on Friday was very sudden, very out of the blue.

At least to most of us, we have heard that some people in a very close inner circle had about 10 days noticed that this was going to happen and we kind of got the feeling that there was something on the horizon which might have sped this up and that is indeed the case

due to certain unrecorded expenses by Vince McMahon that go all the way back to 2006.

W. W. W. W. announced yesterday via a regulatory statement

that they would restate their financial statements for the years

2019, 2020 and 2021. They'll also do the same for the first quarter of 2022.

Now, this comes after it's been revealed that expenses

totaling 14.6 million traced back to Vince McMahon and this seems to be part of this hush money scandal that has rocked Vince McMahon and the

W. W. W. W. in the past few weeks in a new SEC filing that was made yesterday.

W. W. W. has stated that it made a preliminary determination that payments made by Vince

McMahon totaling approximately $14.6 million should have been recorded as company expenses.

The Wall Street Journal reveals that the Securities and Exchange commission and federal prosecutors have launched

inquiries into these hush money payments that were made to settle sexual misconduct allegations.
