Hey everybody, welcome to another episode of Purple Insider.

I have just come back from the Minnesota Vikings night practice and always one of my favorite evenings of the year.

The weather was absolutely flawless out of TCO Stadium and the place

was packed. I mean, you had a lot of standing room only around the edges of the stadium. Vikings

fans showing up in mass out to, I mean, I think they probably could have filled up a much bigger

place than this to see the Vikings this year practice.

And, well, gotta tell you the truth.

I don't think that anybody is gonna go back home and say that they'll never forget this practice.

And I think J.J. McCarthy is going to wake up tomorrow hoping that he forgets this practice.

It was not exactly how you would have drawn it up in your brain.

And this has been really the story of training camp.

And I'll take you through what happened tonight and what were some of the issues for J.J. McCarthy and the offense.

But let me start with something even more important.

Will Reichard made all of his kicks, folks. Will Reichard made every single kick, including a 50 plus.

That's the real important thing here. Will Reichert is back, everybody. But no, I'll take you through

exactly what happened. But it was, I think, one of the worst practices for the offense that we have seen since the beginning of training camp.

I mean, there were very, very few plays that you would have said were executed correctly from start to finish.

And what we saw a lot of just broadly was J.J. McCarthy either taking sacks or having to scramble or having to

check down. It started out okay with seven on seven where it looked like McCarthy was

feeling pretty good as far as throwing the football hit Jalen Naylor on an early pass. There was a

nice throw down the sideline to Jordan Addison.
