and welcome to another episode of purple and Cyber, Matts of Collar here and before we get into my conversation with

Danny Cunningham of ESPN Cleveland and formerly of interesting things to say at

mini camp today. Just wanted to bring a little bit of an update from mini camp.

First of all they were running a little more up-tempo than O-T-A's. See Minnie Camp and O-T-A's very different things, I guess.

It's similar. We get a little more access at mini camp and it seems like they're doing a little more full speed though the offensive and defensive lines

They take the first step of their assignment and that's it then they just stop so

there's no pressure on the quarterbacks they try to kind of give an idea of

when there might be pressure or how much time, two and a half, three seconds and then it's kind of like,

okay, you might be sacked. But they were running some two minute stuff, some more situational type drills than we had seen in O TAs.

And I don't want to pretend to tell you how they looked out there.

I mean, they moved the ball.

They made some good throws some good catches

Adam Thielen had a one-handed catch as you might expect

Jaylon Naylor made a nice catch by the sideline on one play but a fewourn and Amir Smith Marcette both didn't practice

today just as they didn't last week in the O TAs. Now I don't think it's anything to be concerned about.

Amir Smith Marcette isn't going to be available until training camp.

Kevin O'Connell told us that the last time out and with KJ Osborne it wasn't expected to be anything super serious.

Kevin O'Connell did not give us any sort of timeline, but it does show you kind of where they stand on the depth chart that, you know, you're kind of an injury away from B.C. Johnson being the next man up, and if there are are injuries then he's got a good chance to make the team

Jayla Naylor's going to be behind him but that competition is going to really play out

when it comes to training camp but those were the two most notable guys

that we're not practicing.
