Compensation is always ongoing with him, we're trying to be, you know, solutions oriented,

always trying to put the roster together within our constraints and we'll continue those conversations.

You knew for sure that he would be on the roster would you have committed, would you have committed

to Alexander Mattson?

I think a lot of people assume that when the newly year came and went, when the $2 million

in salary that was guaranteed for injury became fully guaranteed on March 17th, that

just ends the issue.

They're going to have Daoven Cook at 10.4 million this year and it doesn't end the issue.

First of all, they weren't going to cut him before March 17 because my understanding is

he couldn't have passed a physical.

He's got that shoulder injury, that chronic problem.

His agent was on a podcast recently saying this guy's been playing with one shoulder for

the past two years and it's only $2 million.

If they would cut him, there's an offset obligation.

He's presumably going to make $2 million somewhere else and the Vikings dramatically reduce

if not completely wipe out that $2 million obligation.
