MacPahler here I have just returned from DCO Performance Center where I watched

another Minnesota Vikings practice. I believe we're at this is number nine today

number eight something like that, maybe number 9.

And whichever number it is, I would say this,

one of the most memorable and impressive so far,

from which quarterback am I going to say? if you've already seen the headline you might know actually both

Sam Darnold and jay j McCarthy had very very good days at the office today.

So we'll talk about that.

An injury on the defensive side.

Will Reicherd kicks six field goals.

break this all down tomorrow is a walkthrough for the Vikings so we won't be out there and then

Monday is one of the big moments of every year's

training camp Monday night is yes that's right the night's practice that we have all treated like kind of a scrimmage. It's under Kevin O'Connell hasn't quite been as

epic as it was under Mike Zimmer or as much as it meant to Mike Zimmer in the past, but it's always one of those markers of training camp where you get to that night practice. Let's see who they're playing in front of the fans. And then it's a precursor to what's going to happen

in the preseason game.

And then we go on and on and on and go forward

with the off season.

And then at some point, we will get an answer to who is going to be the starting

quarterback but we won't get that at least exactly soon so why don't we start by talking

about Sam Darnold and J. J. McCarthy's day. I know that's what everybody wants to hear about. I've even got my notes out here because there were a number of impressive plays that I wanted to talk about with both quarterbacks.
