Each practice from OTAs should be a good sign if he's trending upwards despite not having a perfect practice every day.

Yeah.

So, I mean, I wouldn't call it every day.

It's not like every single day J.J. McCarthy is

1% better than he was the day before. It's more like he has a great practice and then one that's

not as good. And there was a dog days of summer type of couple of practices for him maybe last week beginning

of last week where it was really ugly and then he bounced back and then the night practice

was horrible and then he bounced back and then he played i thought fine in the preseason game

looked pretty good and then i thought he had a fine day today if not a good day today overall

considering that he was getting a lot of pressure and that he came through in the two-minute drill.

I thought it was a good practice. So it's a, you know, it's a little bit of two steps forward, one step back, two steps forward, one step back. But as far as has he made progress? Oh, yeah. I mean, definitely has made a lot, a lot of progress since OTAs where he looked like he was just getting back into the mix.

Vikings were doing the one-on-ones with the Patriots in their warmups. So you have just

quarterbacks throwing to one receiver running a route.
