And we have a monumental moment in the growth and development of Minnesota Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy. Yes, this is one thing that all

great quarterbacks must have in their life. They must go through this. They must get to the other

side. They must battle through the difficult training camp practice. Oh, yes, yes, friends, it happened today.

We knew it was bound to happen to J.J. McCarthy that he would not go through an entire NFL

training camp where he had great day after great day every single afternoon going out there and lighting up

the Minnesota Vikings defense laser shows every day out there at TCO Performance Center.

No, it was bound to happen that J.J. McCarthy did not on Tuesday, July 29th.

Write it down as the day that it finally happened as him QB1.

It wasn't a very sharp practice for J.J. McCarthy.

So here's what I'm going to do.

I'm going to take you through what happened today out at practice.

And then we got Kevin O'Connell at the podium.

Had some interesting things to say.

And Jonathan Allen stopped and talked with a couple of us and, of course, your questions.

And I've got a conversation with Amad Hicks from Fox 9 as well. But here's how it went down for

JJ McCarthy's first tough practice, which obviously I'm looking at trades.

Can you move him for Aaron Roger? No, I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. But yeah, it was a

difficult practice. And the way that it started out was okay. Their first run through 11 on 11s.
