I'm gonna be. Today I'm joined by Rory Naismith, a fellow of the Royal Historical Society and lecturer in medieval British history at King's College London. He has just written a book titled Citadel of the Saxons, The Rise of Early London. we're going to be talking about Viking London today. Now, London is a city throughout world

history that is certainly unprecedented when compared to the influence that it has had on

world politics and military engagements and

really the whole of world history. But when did the Vikings first come to London?
