What's up, parish orphans and retrogrades?

Vigano versus Matei seems to be all anybody's talking about on Catholic Twitter.

And it's a mess. It's a tangle.

And honestly, it's something that I've been talking about for at least a year and a half.

The constant roiling, rumbling,

backbiting nature of the Catholic traditionalist right. It's trouble. What I would like to

offer today as a brief cautionary word is a note that reminds the listener, you parish orphans and

retrogrades out there that both of these guys are good guys. I'm going to show you how.

And how both of them, I believe, have fallen prey to constant imbroglio between Catholic trads, what myeliannopolis calls,

purity spirals, the internecine feuding constantly.

You know, Catholic guys that are decent, good sons of the church, that basically all

believe the same things, doctrinally, that basically all believe the same things,

doctrinally, that basically believe all the same things, even disciplinarly,

but being different human beings with different minds occasionally depart on prudential matters,

which is not a particularly querulous prospect that requires people to distance from

one another. So you've probably heard about it by now. I'm not the first one to jump on this.

Dr. Taylor Marshall did a show on it defending Vigano from Roberto de Mette, Roberto de Mette about 48 hours ago,

maybe a little bit more, published an article that accuses Vigano of having a double.

Even the accusation itself is a little bit unclear.

Does he mean he's got a ghost writer? Does he mean that he's completely flip-flopped

on all of his positions? Does he mean that there's a second cardinal archbishop

Vigano running around out there the way some traditionalists thought there was a second sister
