I am joined by my video store compatriot, Mr. Albert Kane.

Back in our element, where we all began.

I don't know if that's because we're re-inspired by our friends over on the video archives podcast,

but we did kind of, when we started this whole thing, we did say it was like a video store for

your ears. And I think the theme of this year might be a little bit of video store sampling.

Yeah, this is great.

I can't believe we haven't done this before.

When you offered up the idea, I was like, video store sampler almost seems like something

we should have done right away.

But this is such a great and fun, you know, group of films and a way to put them together.

Let's talk about how you broke it down

in terms of the categories and then the one limitation that we put on ourselves. Well, yeah, I'll say,

I think we have always been, I think this was really the format of the show from the very

beginning. We just haven't called it that because I think we're what we do and what I,

what I like about Letterbox. If Letterbox hadn't had that

function of the four favorites, I don't think it ever would have for me completely caught on,

but that is as close to the approximation of having your video store shelf as I've seen.

And I think every episode of the show has really been that. It's been us going, hey, these are

our picks for the week that we're putting on our little board, right?
