I had to show up.

It's my shift. It is your shift. It's a return of the video store sampler. That's right. It's our shift to work at the virtual pure cinema video store. We've done quite a few of these. These are a lot of fun. You can go back and check out the other episodes. There's always a lot of variety in these, and it's always fun to

pick the categories or the sections, if you will, that we're filling or pulling a tape from,

in this case. So what are our sections for this round? Yeah, that's half the fun. I think these are the

ones we like to pepper in a few times a year because it's it's it's easy

kind of way it's easy breezy but it's like fun because you get to act like you're perusing

the shelves uh in this case we decided to go at the categories comedy horror war which i don't

think we've done before as a category i don't think so romance and our favorite our favorite wild. Always got to have the wild. Which just means open. Yeah, just purely open. It can be anything. It doesn't have to be a wild movie, but you know, when you're in video stars often, that just ends up happening. I don't know why. Yeah, I think mine's a little wild for wild. It's definitely wild. But yeah, so that's our categories. I've been looking forward to doing one of these again,

to be honest. Yeah, they're always a good time, and it's always fun to dip, like you said,

into different little genres and find things. And so I'll start with this for comedy. I came back

to, well, there's a little backstory here. Phil and Jackie were kind enough to gift me, basically a TV that had been left in their

lobby of their apartment building.

And it's a decent size, but it's older, and it has like RCA cable hookups.

I just found it actually does have an HTML hookup, but it's an old TV.

So basically it's an ideal for what I was using it for, which is to hook up my VCR to. It's a straight, you know, 720, it's not even 1080 TV, but I can hook up my VCR to it. So I was pulling out my VHS tapes that I'd been unpacking and I was like, oh, here's one that I've been meaning to

rewatch and which still does not have a DVD as far as I know. It's a little tricky. Like,

you might actually have to find a video store that has a VHS rip of this or find it online

somewhere. But it's a fun, weird, you know, hybrid of action comedy.
