Well, I was the Moscow correspondent of the London Financial Times. But I was, I served in that capacity during the Soviet period, and I in fact

reported from Russia at the height of the Soviet Union's power. The Soviet Union at that time was

really probably the most powerful military force in the world. And they had thousands and thousands

of tanks in the middle of Europe that were poised at any minute to overwhelm Western Europe.

But after I left the Soviet Union, and that was a long time ago, that was
