So while I was at work one day in February 2009, doing a counterterrorism exercise, I was in the water,

like you said you can see the Harbour Bridge, you can see the Sydney Opera House, so this is a very

popular spot, and we dive and work there all the time, so I'd swam and dive there thousands of times,

and I was on the surface, on my back with a very thin wet suit on, and a pair of fins,

and while I was in the water after probably only four or five minutes, a bull shark came up from

underneath me, grabbed me by the back of the leg and the hand on my right side, all in one bite,

and decided that I was breakfast, and just started tearing me to pieces.

And you didn't see it at all, right? I didn't see it.

Yeah, I was looking the other direction, and I felt something hit me and didn't hurt at that point,

so I turned around thinking the guys and the boat got a little bit too close,

and then you turned around, and you say you're worst nightmare attached to you, and you kind of

don't know what to do. And did your natural reactions kick into fight? Because obviously,

I mean, you're a tough guy, a Navy SEAL base, you have Australia, so your natural reactions to fight,

I assume. Yeah, after a second of going, is this real life? You think, you know, you think,

okay, I've seen the crocodile hunter, I'll jab it in the eyeball, but it had my hand in its mouth,

so I couldn't use it. So I tried to do it with my left hand, but I couldn't reach. I tried

to punch it in the head. That didn't work. I think I just pissed it off, and then it started shaking

me like sharks. Do you took me underwater? Keep shaking me. When a bull shark grabs something,

it uses its top teeth first to grab on, and then the jaw is actually movable. So when they shake,

the teeth act together as a saw. Oh, that's nice. So while it was shaking me, it's sawing the flesh

from my body. It's a shit diet work. It's a shit diet work. That's a shit diet. That's an
