Today, I am joined on the airwaves by Video Archive Cinema Club manager Matt Lansman

and special guest Roger Avery to chat about the calendar for the week of Monday, January 20th. Hey, Matt,

hey Roger. Hey, Gala. Hey, Gala. So let's talk about this month's calendar design because last

time that we talked about December's calendar, we spoke about Matt and my idea for the black

calendar, which I think personally turned out amazing

and then Matt and I kind of talked about doing January as a white calendar to signify kind of

the new slate of the new year but there was something even more special that Matt managed to do

with the calendar so Matt why don't you take it away? It is on white starburst paper.

If you look very closely, and this may or may not come across in pictures that you see online of the calendar,

but it definitely comes across in person, there are little multicolored bits of funfetti

to celebrate the new year all through the white space of the calendar.

So I think it's just a nice little added touch and a way to ring in 2025.

I agree.

I didn't find a paper like that.

Well, it was actually one of the options at the printer that we normally go with to do all of our calendars and the new

Beverly calendars. So I just thought it was a fun way to change things up a little bit.

I agree. And I also just like hope there's more funfetti in the future. I don't know how often

they have this kind of paper. Is that literally the name of the paper funfetti? No, it's, it's, I think it's like Starburst or Starblast or something like that.

Starblast.

Funfetti is like the name of a cake when you put sprinkles in it.
