Because of that what JP always does. So I'm starting all over. I got my first grand kid. I know I just lost all street cred with you guys, but that's all right.

I'm a grandfather. That is the first actual life stage that has not fit in me. I can remember when I turned 10, you were double digits. I was like, okay, double digits. No big deal.

0:55.0

It kind of rolled off my back. Hit 13. It was a teenager. For me, I was about 10 years away from puberty. It was all good. 13 won that big deal.

1:02.0

16. Hit me. I got my license. I was free to go where I wanted to go. That was fine. 18. Graduated in high school. I was 17. I got to high school. That was no big deal. I got to college. That didn't seem weird. I was that guy. I was now in my 20s and cranking along. I got married. That seemed like normal. Okay. It kind of hit me just right.

1:19.0

I had a baby. That was cool. I was fine. I married my daughter. That didn't freak me out. I didn't marry her. My daughter. That would have freaked me out.

1:27.0

I married my daughter off. Key word there. I married my daughter off. That didn't, that didn't freak me out. But then a year ago on Father's Day, my daughter gave me an envelope.

1:36.0

Said happy and she had father's scratched out and grand put on top of it. Now that freaked me out. I'm like, that's a life stage. I'm not really ready to be associated with you know. Grandpa said, you know, no team.

1:48.0

Close to the grave. That was a different from me. I wasn't really ready to go there. But I'm there. Man, it's awesome. So I got new kids stories coming.

1:57.0

I'm going to tell you an old kid story. So my daughters are right now. My oldest is 24. That's the one that gave me the baby. My other one is 21. She's out of college and hangs out with you guys here sometimes.

2:12.0

When they were three and five, I decided to take them on a bike ride. I threw them back at that little, you know, carousel. You strap in the back of a bike. And my whole life, I always blessed my kids. I love to take them for ice cream and things like that.

2:27.0

And love to take them to go get some candy at different times. But this was different. I was going to actually let them go on their own on a bike ride with me. And then what? And a bucky's nearest. Okay. I wouldn't even have buckies around at the time.

2:40.0

But had there been out of taking to a bucky's because buckies as the biggest candy selection I know of that you can go kind of walk up and down these huge aisles. But I took them to the biggest candy store that was nearest.

2:50.0

And we walked into this candy store and I just said, okay, girls, you're three or five. You can get whatever you want. Just pick an item. It's yours. You get to choose it. There's no decree that's coming from dad. But I'm just going to tell you as we get rid of walking these doors. Your dad knows candy.

3:08.0

I am good at candy. I've studied candy. I eat candy. I love candy. I hide candy from your mom. I am good at candy. And so I'll help you. All right. I'll give you all the counsel I can. But let's go. You're free. And so we walk into the store and my five year old, Ali, immediately grabs my hand. And she says, daddy, what should I get? And I go, oh, baby. And I leaned over. I picked her up and we walk over that candy aisle.

3:34.0

Three year old and tow Kirby behind us. And we start looking around at all the different candies that are there. And I'm explaining to the wonders of chocolate, you know, and reminding her what that is, what's behind those different rappers and letting her know about all the different stuff I look down at Kirby was already done.

3:50.0

Kirby had made her decision. She said, you know, jerk it at my shorts. She said, let's go. I got it. I'm like, okay, Kirby, hang on a second. And I'm going to help you just a minute. Let me, the daddy help you. And she just kind of looked at me like, I got what I want.

4:02.0

And so I go, okay, Kirby, just hang on a second, Ali. Let me just just wait and stuff with you, Ali. This stuff up here, this is where the really good stuff is. Down, down low is this the single stuff up here is the pound bags of candy. And so, you know, I'm taking my little daughter. And I'm just saying, hey, check it out. This is a pound bag of Skittles. Okay, it's not a little bag of Skittles. You might want to consider this one because it's got like Skittles for a week right here. Okay, these are star bursts are harder and rapid. You can't get to them as quickly as the Skittles, but they're good. This will last you a long time. Okay, your dad, your dad is a big fan of Reese's. Okay. Let's get to

4:32.0

this one. Where how about this peanut M&M? That's the way to go right here. All right, this is where dad loves peanut M&M's. Get the pound bag of peanut M&M. And on and on, we went through all these different things of candy. Anyway, Ali settles on the pound bag of Skittles. This is what she's got. Five years old with her own pound bag of Skittles. And I put her down and Ali immediately goes, oh, curbs. Listen to that. Dad is good. Dad knows candy, right? And Kirby is like, I'm good. I got what I want.

5:02.0

And so I looked down at what Kirby has and Kirby's got her arm, you know, kind of tucked in tight and I unlock her little fist. And she's got on her hand, what would fit in a little three year old's hand. It's a single piece of candy. Now I looked at it. I got a miss. Kind of cool. It was it was it was big. And it had a really nice wrapping. I had this really bright yellow wrapping around the red. And I looked a little closer. And I saw it was in fact this little bad boy right here, which is an atomic fireball. All right.

5:32.0

Now I got to admit it's impressive looking. Okay. Nice wrapper. And by the way, where was Kirby? Little three year old eyes. Where were little three year old eyes could see that she couldn't see up to the wonders of pound bags of candy. All she saw was down there with a loose candy's where the single jelly ranchers, right. The individual piece of the bazooka bubble gum. And then this little gem right here, which she locked on it fit neatly inside a little three year old hand. And I just go curbs. No, you don't want that. I
