I want to begin a new series this morning.

Something that I've had on the back burner for some time now, just stewing, and I'm excited about it.

First Corinthians 15, I'd like for you to notice, the 57th verse.

First Corinthians 15, 57.

Anybody got that one marked?

It says, but thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hallelujah.

Thanks being unto God.

That was, and I guess still is, one of brother Kenneth Hagan's favorite verses.

We'd be going along, walking down a hall or going to the car or getting on the plane,

and he'd just, out of the blue, you might say he'd just begin to say that.

Thanks be unto God, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

I say it myself like that quite often.

And he is the God who gives us the victory, and it's through our Lord Jesus Christ.

And you'll hear people say this in reference to victory over the, victory over a sickness

or a problem, victory over a need, victory over a failure. And I believe that's all true and

applicable. But there's a primary application of what he was saying God gives us victory over in this chapter.
