Victory.

It can be so elusive.

After what can feel like an eternity striving, training and reaching towards a goal, victory

can seem almost in your grasp, and then, well, the brass ring can be caught sometimes.

It can be achieved, but can also be like water running through your fingers, a mist,

an evening fog or morning dew, gone with the rising sun.

I'm sure your life is full of both.

Some races won, some goals achieved, but other objectives blundered.

Other small victories long forgotten.

While the theme of this meditation from 1 Corinthians 15 is about victory, recalling

victories and placing them where they belong in the hands of God, taking achievements

and triumphs, and assigning credit where divine credit is due.

But are you struggling to remember any victories, one, or are you still in the race and feel

you're falling behind?
