Hello, everybody. It's Reid Tracy. Welcome back to the You Can Heal Your Life podcast.

0:13.6

Today's guest is Victoria LeBalm and she's new to Hay House. Her book is called Risk

0:20.6

Forward and Brace the Unknown and unlock your hidden genius. And I could go on and on

0:27.5

how incredible she is and all the wonderful things she's done. But I'm going to let her tell you

0:34.1

a little bit about why she wrote this book and a little bit about ourselves and then we'll go

0:40.0

from there. So hi, Victoria. Hi, Reid. Thank you for having me. I'm happy to have you and I can't

0:46.8

wait to share you with the Hay House world. Thank you. So you asked me sort of why I why wrote the book

0:54.7

a little bit about my background and why I wrote the book is that, you know, for many years,

1:00.4

I suffered under this myth that unless I was clear and I had a plan and a goal, I couldn't succeed.

1:08.2

And I found in my early life that I was making decisions that were different. I couldn't

1:12.8

always explain them except that they seemed right for me. And as I went on in my career,

1:17.7

which I'll talk about, I discovered there are other people that had that same feeling. They

1:21.7

preferred always clear on where they were going or had a definite path or a plan or a project

1:28.7

or a goal. And over years of working with some of the most celebrated companies and creative

1:35.2

individuals, I discovered the secret that a lot of them didn't know either that clarity is not

1:42.0

the place that we start from. It's the place we end up at and it's a cycle we go through again

1:49.7

and again. And so I wanted to address the value of not knowing and how we can embrace that and

1:54.6

actually find the most original path forward for each of us. So that's why I wrote the book

2:01.3

to alleviate that suffering and to give people permission to not know.

2:06.8

Exactly an incredible reason to do it. And I know so many people listening to this are going to

2:12.8

relate to that because all of us have been in that position and wondered about it.

2:19.1

Yes, exactly. Well, let's go from there into hearing about who you are.
